However abruptly stopping the medication can cause unpleasant withdrawal symptoms. Ultram can only be taken orally it should not be crushed and inhaled or diluted and injected into the body. Both action can cause life threatening side effects, overdoes, or death. If currently intoxicated with alcohol or recent used of the following drugs such as narcotic pain medicine, sedatives or tranquilizers (valiums), anti depression medication, mental illness medication or street drugs, Ultram should not be consume or administer. If doing so, it will increase the high possibilities of seizure.
Dosage of Ultram need to be adjustment as safety measure for those who are suffering from kidney disease, liver disease, stomach disorder, or history of mental illness, beside that it also have been proven harmful to unborn babies such as serious of fatal side effect. Do not consume during pregnancy or be given to children below the age of 18.
